Six styles. Three ranges. That's the whole thing, right now.
It's a fair question: why so few? A lot of brands launch wide and narrow later. We did the opposite, on purpose, and I want to actually explain why instead of just letting it look like we ran out of ideas.
We curated by support level, not by "collection"
Vibe Bold is our high-support range - right now - which is Alma, a front-zip style, in three colourways. Rise Strong is medium support, built for movement, Valora and Blythe, one colour each. Embrace Flow is our low support, the daily and lounge range and that's Wanda, Beatrix, and Emery. These comes in two colourways each style.
That's the actual logic: three support levels, because that's three genuinely different jobs a bra has to do. Not three "collections" for the sake of having collections.
Every style had to earn its place
Each one of those six styles exists because a specific fit or support problem wasn't being solved well enough for the women we were trying to serve; not because we were trying to fill out a catalogue. We'd rather get one style genuinely right than rush out five that are just okay.
There's a less flattering, more practical reason too, and I don't mind saying it: I didn't want a stockroom full of things we couldn't sell. Every style had to earn its place before the next one got made. That's not a sustainability pitch, it's just how I'd want to run this if it were the only rule I had to follow.
So what happens next?
Here's the honest answer: we don't drop products to announce them. We ask first.
That's what Coffee Conversations already is: real conversations with real women about what isn't working for them, before we decide what to make. It's slower than a launch calendar. It's also the only way we know of, to actually get it right instead of just getting it out.
If you want a say in what comes next - not a product drop but a conversation - that's what our mailing list is for. No countdown, no "coming soon (for now!). Just first access to the conversations that shape what we make.
Join our mailing list. Be part of the conversation that decides what we make next.
Know someone who'd want in on this too? Send her this article. The more voices in the conversation, the better what we make next actually fits.
